Note In order for Wi-Fi calling to work, your device must be connected to a Wi-Fi network with an internet connection. The college provides the FGC_Wireless Wi-Fi network free of charge for all campus visitors. Calls made using Wi-Fi calling will likely disconnect when you move out of range of Wi-Fi, regardless of whether you have cell service or not, as an active call cannot be seamlessly transitioned from Wi-Fi to cellular service. While Wi-Fi calling may allow you to place and receive calls using your device, text messages (SMS) likely will not see any benefit, as that technology typically requires carrier service.
